As a kid i was told
Always my head high to hold
to keep on trying somehow
i decided i will not bow.

Growing up many times did i fail
but never did my hopes derail
to keep on trying somehow
i decided i will not bow.
Whenever life took an unexpected turn
new lessons did i learn
to keep on trying somehow
i decided i will not bow.
Within all this hatred
i still hold love sacred
to keep on trying somehow
i decided i will not bow.
